Cremona
The first real meeting was organised in Cremona in October 1988 by a
larger group who laid the foundations for the association's current activities. The first
Board of the Association was composed as follows: president Pierre Taconné,
vice-president Antonio Capela, secretary Gio Batta Morassi and tresorer Karl Roy In March
1989 there was a reunion in Mittenwald, mainly dedicated to the phrasing of the aims of
the Association as well as a first exchange of ideas about statute and internal
regulations. The aims of the A.E.L., as later on put down in the statute, are: firstly to promote the art of violin making as a European cultural wealth, |
